Duties:
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial statements
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting processes
- Assist with audits and provide support during tax season
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations of the accounting department
- Reporting for grants
- Misc. filing, paperwork, etc.
· Assist the Executive Director
Experience:
- Previous experience in an accounting role or related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Organized, proactive, professional, collaborative, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, works well under pressure, passionate, responsible, highly self-motivated, punctual and able to meet deadlines.
Drug Test and Background Check Required.
